Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Spa Receptionist to join our welcoming team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for clients, responsible for managing appointments, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Responsibilities
- Greet clients warmly upon arrival and ensure a positive first impression of the spa.
- Manage appointment scheduling efficiently using the booking system, including confirming and rescheduling as needed.
- Answer phone calls with professional phone etiquette, addressing client inquiries promptly and courteously.
- Upsell spa services and retail products to maximise client satisfaction and revenue.
- Maintain organised records of client information, treatments, and transactions with attention to detail.
- Process payments accurately using the point-of-sale system, including handling cash and card transactions.
- Assist with merchandising displays to promote spa products effectively.
- Coordinate with therapists and staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Keep the reception area clean, organised, and welcoming at all times.
- Maintaining public spaces in the spa
Experience
- Previous experience in a customer service or reception role is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on professionalism and friendliness.
- Organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a busy environment.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Excellent time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively throughout shifts.
- Knowledge of merchandising principles and upselling techniques is beneficial but not mandatory.
