Overview
We are seeking three dedicated Part Time Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitionersto join our vibrant childcare team at Poulton Childcare at Queensway. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a nurturing environment, supporting children's early development and learning. The successful candidate will have a passion for working with children, possess strong communication skills, and demonstrate leadership qualities. Previous nursery experience and early childhood education qualifications are essential for this position. The role is paid and suitable for individuals seeking part-time employment.

Position 1 - Monday to Friday 12:45pm - 18:00pm
Position 2 Monday and Tuesday 7:45am - 18:00pm
Position 3 Monday, Tuesday and Friday 7:45am - 18:00pm
Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- Provide high-quality care and support to children, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and individual needs are met
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages children's curiosity and independence
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily activities
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support children's development plans
- Support the management team in implementing nursery policies and procedures
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, ensuring safety at all times
- Assist in organising nursery routines such as mealtimes, naps, and transitions between activities
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the nursery’s programmes and activities
Qualifications
- Level 3 Childcare Qualification or equivalent recognised early childhood education certification
- Proven experience working within a nursery or childcare setting
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while demonstrating initiative
- Knowledge of child development principles and safeguarding procedures

Pay: £13,689.00-£21,060.00 per year
