Elddis Transport is a well-established and well-respected haulage company based in the North East. We require Class 1 drivers for our Haltwhistle based operations working Monday to Friday night shift.
- Basic hours: £19.01
- Weekend hours: £19.56
Responsibilities
- Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently during night shifts.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods to designated locations while adhering to traffic regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and compliance.
- Manage loads securely, ensuring proper strapping as needed.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with traffic office and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered.
Previous experience prefered.
