An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time customer delivery driver at Fairway Furniture, one of the South West’s leading furniture and carpet specialists. For almost 170 years Fairway have been providing customers with an excellent customer experience, selling beautiful products with outstanding value, quality and choice.
The role involves deliveries of furniture to customers in their homes and therefore a C1 or CAT B driving licence with experience of driving a transit van is essential. You will form part of a two person team, the role is fairly physical so applicants should be comfortable lifting heavy items. The applicant must have excellent customer service skills and feel confident using a tablet to update delivery information to the IT system.
The role will require you to work Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm with some weekend working during our busy periods. In return, your starting basic salary will be £25,662 per year. There are also additional monthly bonuses and commission based on performance with an OTE in excess of £28,000. The successful applicant will also receive staff uniform, pension, annual leave and access to a generous staff purchase scheme.
