We run a busy 'wraparound' childcare service for nursery and school children aged 3 - 11. We have four clubs in Trafford (Altrincham, Hale & Hale Barns). Three are on site at schools and we have our own facilities in Altrincham where we have our head office and a club.
We are also recently expanded our services at our Altrincham Club - Opening varied day time classes from 9.15am to 3.15pm
Hours to to fulfil managerial duties
Breakfast Clubs - 1 - 1.5 Hours from 7.30am - 9.00am (Monday to Friday)
After School Clubs - 2.30 - 6.30pm (Monday to Friday) Max 4 hours - min 3.5 hours
Holiday Clubs - 7.30 - 6.30pm (Monday to Friday) Max 8.5hours
We are looking for Managers to run one of our busy Breakfast Clubs, After School Clubs and Holiday Playschemes. We need level 3 qualified childcare staff to take on more senior positions - running clubs and managing staff.
Applicants must have a very good command of English - We welcome applicants with additional languages and from all communities. All children should be represented and it is important that staff are approachable, good role models and representative of our community.
We offer apprentice positions for all levels and other training will be given including safeguarding children and First Aid.
We are looking for fun, enthusiastic people to join our team. We need help in all areas and at all clubs. We are looking to fill some positions from July 2026 and others from September 2026
Duties and responsibilities would depend on the position offered and qualifications and although this is not an exhaustive list some of the day to day duties include;- making sandwiches, serving children, playing games and interacting with children mixed ages, abilities and from all different cultures. Playing out, running around, doing sport with the children, accompanying children on day trips, assisting with homework, testing spellings and listening to readers. School collections and drop offs, working alone and in groups. Cleaning duties, art and craft, play plans, food ordering, invoicing, office work, speaking to parents/carers - passing on messages etc...
Managerial responsibilities include taking charge of a club, planning activities and delivery, admin, office work, safeguarding and first aid duties and such like.
