We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various commercial premises. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in janitorial work and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality cleaning services.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitising surfaces
- Ensure all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and other consumables as needed
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times during cleaning procedures
- Maintain a tidy and organised work area after completing cleaning tasks
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is desirable
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good organisational skills to manage time efficiently during shifts
- Knowledge of safe handling and use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
