At Old Mill Park in Louth, we operate a specialist 6-bed complex care service supporting individuals with high-level complex health and behavioural needs. Our teams work collaboratively — both in-house and alongside NHS partners — to deliver exceptional, clinically informed care that puts the individual at the centre of everything we do.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead our service at Old Mill Park. This is a significant leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in a clinically complex environment and is committed to driving outstanding outcomes for the people we support.
We are ideally looking for a qualified Nurse (RGN or RMN), though experienced non-nurse managers with a strong complex care background will also be considered. The successful candidate will be required to register with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) as the Registered Manager for this service.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operational leadership and management of the service
- Hold and maintain CQC registration as Registered Manager, ensuring full regulatory compliance
- Work closely with in-house clinical staff and NHS MDT partners including consultants, OTs, physiotherapists, and other allied health professionals
- Lead, motivate, and develop the care team to deliver high-quality, person-centred support
- Maintain and uphold the highest standards of care for individuals with complex health and behavioural needs
- Manage staffing, rotas, audits, and quality assurance processes
- Build and maintain positive relationships with families, advocates, commissioners, and external agencies
- Drive continuous improvement and contribute to the ongoing development of the service
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager within health or social care
- Strong knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory compliance, with the ability and willingness to hold CQC registration
- Experience supporting individuals with complex health and/or behavioural needs
- Experience working within or alongside a multidisciplinary team
- Nurse qualification (RGN/RMN) desirable but not essential
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- A genuine commitment to delivering outstanding, person-centred care
