Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable Vehicle Recovery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting recovered vehicles safely and efficiently while ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle operation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to navigate various routes effectively. A background in the motor trade or driving is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Operate vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring that items are secured properly during journeys.
- Communicate effectively with staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage and fuel consumption.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any concerns or questions from clients.
- Assist with basic mechanical maintenance of the vehicle when necessary.
Qualifications
- Valid driving licence with a CPC & Class 2 license or driver with a 7.5t entitlement
- Expereince in the motor trade, ideally driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to assist with minor vehicle repairs is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Pay: £15.00-£18.00 per hour
