Step Into Teaching is partnering with a successful secondary school in Peterborough that is seeking a Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant to support students throughout the academic year.
This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain practical classroom experience while helping students develop confidence in mathematics and achieve their academic goals.
What You'll Be Doing
- Working alongside experienced Maths teachers, you will:
- Support students in Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Deliver small-group and one-to-one intervention sessions
- Help pupils improve their numeracy, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Assist with GCSE preparation and revision support
- Encourage students to develop confidence and resilience in their learning

You should:
- Hold a degree in Maths or a related subject (2:2 or above)
- Be confident explaining mathematical concepts to others
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be enthusiastic, patient, and supportive
- Have a genuine interest in education and student development
