Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Window/Door/conservatories Fitters. To join our fast growing fittings team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing windows and doors (UPVC mainly) across various residential and commercial projects. This role requires a strong understanding of Surveying practices, excellent craftsmanship, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Experience with a range of trimming & finishing products, technique is essential to ensure high-quality installations that meet safety standards and client specifications, angles on bay windows doors etc.
Responsibilities
- Install Windows and doors according to project plans and schematics
- Prepare work sites by removing old fixtures, cleaning surfaces, and ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Use hand measureing equipment to complete surveys accurately and efficiently
- carry out visual understanding of replacements of existing window and door units as required
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote safety and efficiency on site
- Follow all health and safety regulations throughout each phase of installation
- Assist in fabricating custom components when necessary using welding, fabrication techniques, or construction painting skillsQualifications
- Proven experience in construction-related roles with a focus on window or door installation preferred
- Knowledge of windows , doors , construction
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in measuring and fitting components
- Good physical fitness with the ability to climb stairs safely and work at heights when required
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the capacity to adapt to different site conditions
- Valid relevant qualifications or certifications in construction trades are advantageous but not mandatory

Please don't apply if you can't Drive or Don't Have Access or Own a vehicle, this role involves travelling by van only. You must be able to install upvc windows & doors properties. Must be willing to travel all over yorkshire. 9am-6pm. or part time either 9-1pm or 12pm-6pm, Experience is a MUST & knowledge of upvc windows and doors.
PAY: Day rate or £80 per window & £120 per door (We cover your Daily Fuel)
Work Location: On the road
Pay: £30,420.00-£55,823.50 per year
