Experienced Mechanic
Location: Tewkesbury
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 (30-minute lunch break)
Salary: Competitive salary dependent on experience and competence

Key Requirements
- Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician (or equivalent)
- Class IV MOT Tester preferred
- Experience with electric/hybrid vehicles desirable
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Competent in servicing, timing belts, brakes, suspension, and clutch replacement
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to develop
About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician looking to progress their career within a supportive and professional workshop environment.
The ideal candidate will be Level 3 qualified and hold a valid Class IV MOT licence, with experience working on electric and hybrid vehicles. However, training can be provided for the right individual who demonstrates the knowledge, attitude, and commitment we value at AGP.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs to a high standard
- Diagnose and rectify vehicle faults using diagnostic equipment
- Complete repairs including timing belts, brakes, suspension, and clutches
- Conduct MOT testing (where qualified)
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with manufacturer standards
- Maintain a clean and organised working environment
What We're Looking For
- Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
- Class IV MOT Tester qualification preferred
- Experience working with electric and hybrid vehicles advantageous
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, motivated, and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship
