Overview
We are seeking a professional HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating flatbed lorries to deliver and collect vehicles efficiently across various locations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers with a strong focus on safety, punctuality, and customer service. The position is fully paid and suitable for individuals with a passion for commercial driving and delivery operations.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate HGV Class 2 flatbed lorries to transport vehicles to designated destinations.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed on time whilst adhering to road safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify any maintenance or safety issues.
- Secure loads properly on flatbeds, ensuring safe transit during delivery.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with the logistics team.
- Follow all health and safety procedures, including compliance with tachograph regulations and driver hours limitations.
- Assist with loading and unloading goods when necessary, ensuring proper handling of items.
Qualifications
- Valid HGV Class 2 licence with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed vehicles and delivery routes.
- Knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for secure load handling.
- Previous experience as a driver is desirable but not essential; training will be provided if needed.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to plan routes efficiently.

- HIAB experience is preferred but not essential as full training can be provided.
- Up to date CPC and digital Tachograph card are required .
Pay: £12.58-£22.66 per hour
