Trainee Sales Executive - Role Overview:
As a result of continued growth, Custom Labels Ltd is seeking a number of motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Sales Executives to join our team. Over time, your role will be to become a trusted and expert adviser for our customers; helping us deliver excellent service and win new sales to support our growth.
The successful candidates will have previous sales experience, ideally within a B2B environment, although this is not essential. More important is a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a genuine willingness to learn and develop. As a business, our core focus is the manufacture of high-quality labels for application to important assets – so getting things right matters much more than just getting things done.

Trainee Sales Executive – Responsibilities

- Taking and managing inbound sales enquiries received via web, email and telephone, ensuring all relevant customer and order information is accurately captured and entered into our software system (ERP).
- Taking an expert-led consultative approach with customers to fully understand their application, technical requirements, timelines and expectations enabling the business to recommend the most suitable label solution.
- Building strong relationships with customers through clear communication, responsiveness and a high standard of service.
- When tasked, to conduct outbound sales activity, including following up quotations, re-engaging inactive customers, nurturing existing accounts and developing new business opportunities.
- Working closely with internal departments to ensure customer requirements are clearly communicated and delivered in line with company standards.
- Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, quotations and opportunities within internal systems.
- Following established quality procedures – suggesting improvements where observed - and contributing to a culture of accuracy, accountability and operational excellence.

Your Experience:
You will have previous sales experience, care about details, and be able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You will need to be, or become, proficient with Microsoft (excel, outlook), and able to learn new IT systems (such as our inhouse ERP system called Label Traxx)
Above all, you’ll be great person to work with; willing to help others out, willing to own mistakes (which we can all make) and willing to ask for help. We’re a relatively small team, and every person is important.
Pay: £28,000.00 per year
