Imagine being at the heart of how a business connects, communicates and brings its story to life. Reporting to the Group Communications Manager, you'll play a key role in shaping how Splendid engages with its people, partners and wider audiences through clear, consistent and engaging communications.
You’ll join at an exciting time of transformation, where effective communication is more important than ever. Working across internal and corporate communications channels, you'll help ensure the right messages reach the right audiences at the right time.
From sharing colleague stories and business updates to supporting leadership communications, change initiatives and external corporate content, no two days are the same. It’s a hands-on, creative and fast-paced role, perfect for someone who enjoys crafting compelling content, building engagement and helping people feel informed, connected and inspired.
This is a corporate communications role rather than a marketing position. While you will create content for a range of channels, the primary focus is on employee communications, corporate messaging, stakeholder engagement and supporting business-wide communication initiatives.
As a Channels & Content Executive, you're not just creating communications — you're helping shape how people experience and connect with Splendid every day.
This role is based in Watford, with an expectation of being in the office 3–4 days per week.
As a Channel and Content Executive, you will be expected to:
- Own the day-to-day delivery across key internal channels (including the monthly newsletter and intranet/Mapal) and external platforms (LinkedIn and website)

- Create, edit, and publish engaging content across a variety of channels
- Support the delivery of integrated campaigns, from planning through to execution
- Repurpose content effectively across channels to maximise reach, consistency, and impact
- Build strong relationships with teams across the business, collaborating to bring key messages to life
- Advise stakeholders on the most effective channels and formats to communicate their messages
- Support the coordination of internal and external events, including invitations, attendee management, and logistics
-
3–5 years’ experience in communications, marketing, or channel management
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences and channels
- Experience using digital tools such as CMS platforms, email systems, and social media scheduling tools
- Comfortable working at pace, managing multiple priorities, and meeting deadlines
You are:
- A natural storyteller — you enjoy creating content that connects with people
- Organised and agile — able to manage deadlines and adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Collaborative — you build strong relationships and work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Creative — you turn ideas into simple, engaging, and impactful content
- Curious — always looking to try new tools and better understand your audience
- Values-led — you communicate in a warm, human, and authentically Splendid way
- Confident and independent — comfortable making decisions and keeping things moving day-to-day
