We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar and Waiting Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. Duties
- Welcome guests warmly and assist them with seating arrangements
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring prompt service
- Serve drinks and meals efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanour
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using the POS system
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar and dining areas throughout shifts
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service operations
- Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and health regulations
- Assist with food preparation tasks when required, adhering to hygiene protocols
- Provide excellent guest services, addressing any special requests or concerns promptly
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is advantageous
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper serving techniques
- Ability to handle multiple tables efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable manner
- Basic maths skills for handling bills and cash transactions accurately
- Good organisational skills to manage time effectively during busy periods
- Experience in food preparation or kitchen work is a plus, especially culinary knowledge
- Ability to upsell menu items tactfully to enhance guest experience and sales performance
- Guest service orientation with a focus on creating memorable dining experiences
