Veterinary Surgeon - Chiswick
Modern clinic | Advanced surgical work | People and pets first culture
If you love surgery but want a clinic that genuinely supports you
If you are a Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys the craft of surgery but feels frustrated by rushed consults, outdated systems, or a lack of real team support, this role may feel like a breath of fresh air.
This is an opportunity to work somewhere that combines modern technology, thoughtful processes, and a team that truly values the people delivering the care.
The Opportunity
We are working with a beautifully designed small animal clinic in Chiswick that is on a mission to rethink how veterinary care should feel for both clinicians and clients.
This is not a practice looking to simply fill a rota gap. They are looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys clinical problem solving, takes pride in surgical work, and wants to contribute to a collaborative team environment where ideas are welcomed and development is encouraged.
The clinic has invested heavily in modern systems and bespoke technology to remove unnecessary friction from the day to day workflow. The aim is simple. Allow the veterinary team to focus on medicine, surgery, and patient care rather than battling inefficient processes.
You will join a highly skilled team that shares knowledge openly, supports each other during complex cases, and values creating a calm, professional environment where both pets and their owners feel looked after.
Why This Role Is Different
A clinic designed for modern veterinary care
The practice has been built around efficiency and quality care, combining state of the art facilities with bespoke technology that supports clinical decision making and smooth patient journeys.
Surgical work that keeps your skills sharp
You will regularly perform a range of surgical procedures and medical treatments, allowing you to continue developing your surgical confidence while managing varied clinical cases.
A genuinely collaborative team
You will work alongside highly skilled veterinary professionals who value shared learning, clinical discussion, and teamwork. This is a multidisciplinary environment where input is welcomed and support is always available.
A culture that prioritises people and animals
The clinic actively promotes a people and animal first culture, focusing on compassion for clients, excellent patient care, and a supportive working environment for the team.
Your Journey Here
In Your First Month
You will focus on getting comfortable with the clinic’s systems, meeting the wider team, and understanding the workflows that support the practice. You will begin seeing consultations and assisting with procedures while settling into the pace of the clinic.
In Your First 3 Months
You will be confidently managing a range of consultations, diagnostics, and surgical cases. By this point you will be fully integrated into the team and contributing to case discussions and treatment planning.
In Your First 6 Months
