Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Dental Laboratory Technician to join our professional team. Responsibilities
- Fabricate dental prostheses such as crowns, bridges, dentures, and orthodontic appliances in accordance with dentist specifications
- Assist in the preparation of models, wax-ups, and moulds using various laboratory techniques and materials
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and quality standards
- Maintain accurate records of procedures, materials used, and completed work for each patient case
- Collaborate closely with dental practitioners to interpret prescriptions and provide technical support
- Manage multiple projects efficiently whilst adhering to deadlines
Skills
- Strong understanding of patient care principles related to dental prosthetics
- Proficiency in English, with excellent communication skills for liaising with colleagues and dental professionals
- Basic knowledge of nursing practices relevant to dental laboratories is advantageous
- Competency in IT systems utilised for record keeping and design software applications
- Exceptional organisational skills to prioritise tasks effectively and maintain workflow efficiency
- Attention to detail to ensure precise craftsmanship of all dental appliances
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
