South Bank Pharmacy is looking for an experienced, friendly and motivated Pharmacy Dispenser to join our busy community pharmacy team.
We are an independent pharmacy that prides itself on delivering outstanding patient care while embracing new NHS and private services. As well as dispensing prescriptions, we provide Pharmacy First, blood pressure checks, contraception services, vaccinations, weight management services and much more.
We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has excellent attention to detail and genuinely cares about helping patients.
What you'll be doing
- Dispensing and preparing NHS and private prescriptions.
- Supporting the pharmacist with the safe and efficient running of the dispensary.
- Providing excellent customer service and advice to patients.
- Managing stock, ordering medicines and date checking.
- Assisting with NHS and private pharmacy services where appropriate.
- Helping maintain accurate records and ensuring compliance with pharmacy procedures.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the pharmacy runs efficiently.
- Providing cover at our other pharmacy branches when required.
About you
- Previous experience working as a pharmacy dispenser is essential.
- NVQ Level 2 Pharmacy Services (or equivalent) is preferred.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Able to work accurately in a busy environment.
- Flexible and willing to work across different pharmacy locations when required.
- A positive team player with a friendly, professional attitude.
- Passionate about delivering outstanding patient care.
