Key responsibilities:
There will be a variety of duties available throughout the events, including checking in customers, selling tickets, operating the till to process payments for food, drinks, and pumpkins, making coffee, assisting visitors as they board the tractor and trailer rides, helping to keep the site clean and presentable, replenishing stock, keeping the pumpkin field tidy and much more.
While we aim to match tasks to individual strengths, everyone will be expected to take on a mix of responsibilities to support the team and ensure a smooth operation.
Full training will be provided not only for the specific duties mentioned above but also to ensure you understand and comply with all necessary health and safety procedures, food hygiene regulations, and relevant company policies that must be followed during the working day.
Hours of Work
- The average length of shift is 7 hours, Monday to Sunday.
- Between the hours of 8.30am and 5.30pm
Pay rates:
Our pay rates vary depending on age:
- Ages 16–17: £8.19 per hour
- Ages 18–20: £10.99 per hour
- Ages 21 and over: £12.84 per hour
Interview & Training
Interviews will take place during the weeks commencing 29th June and 6th July.
Inductions, training and start dates will run throughout late-July and early-August.
Please only apply if you are available to start in July/August and can also work during the Halloween period.
Shift Pattern
To be considered, you must be available for most of the dates below.
1-2 shifts per week in August Saturday
3rd - Sunday - 4th October
Saturday 10th - Sunday 11th October
Saturday 17th - Sunday 18th October
Monday 19th - Sunday 25th October
Monday 26th - Saturday 31st October
We ask that candidates be available for at least one weekend shift in the lead-up to Halloween, as well as 3–5 shifts per week during the half-term break.
