Graphic Designer / Signage Designer & Artworker

The Opportunity
An established and growing signage manufacturer is looking to add an experienced Graphic Designer / Signage Designer & Artworker to its creative team in Middleton.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in the signage and large format print industry who enjoys taking projects from concept through to production-ready artwork. You'll be working on a wide variety of bespoke signage projects for commercial clients, collaborating with production and project teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and prepare artwork for a range of signage and large format print projects
- Produce accurate production artwork for vinyl graphics, large format printing and bespoke signage
- Create scaled drawings and visual layouts for client approval and manufacture
- Ensure artwork is set up correctly for production using industry best practices
- Manage colour profiles and maintain colour consistency across multiple print processes
- Work closely with production teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and delivered to specification
- Amend existing artwork and produce final files within tight deadlines
- Support the design team with creative concepts and technical artwork when required
Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience within the signage, large format print or graphics industry
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
- Experience creating artwork for large format printing and vinyl graphics
- Strong understanding of print production processes, artwork setup and colour management
- Knowledge of illuminated signage, fabricated letters and bespoke signage solutions
- Experience producing scaled drawings and technical layouts
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- The ability to manage multiple projects and work to deadlines
- A positive attitude and strong communication skills
