Duties of the Vehicle Technician role:
- Conduct vehicle servicing, repairs, and diagnostics to high standards
- Perform MOT testing and ensure vehicles meet safety and emissions regulations
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive repair and service documentation
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers regarding vehicle findings and recommendations
- Uphold workshop health and safety procedures at all times
- Assist in identifying additional work and parts required to ensure customer satisfaction
Requirements for the Vehicle Technician role:
- Current MOT Tester qualification and proven experience conducting MOT testing
- Extensive experience as an Automotive Technician within the industry
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, repair techniques, and diagnostics
- Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and fault-finding skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
