Equans is looking for a Data Analyst to join our Equans Digital business unit at our offices in Central London where the position will also support other adjacent business units within the wider Equans Digital & Energy Services business.

Role overview
This Data Analyst role sits within Digital Services (Digital & Energy) working remotely with national travel required to attend meetings across the UK at any one of our Equans Offices or client premises. Reporting to the Head of Service and working closely with other members of the Equans Digital SLT and wider IT, Software and Data teams, our Data Analyst must be familiar with the full range of services we deliver and understand business processes in the digital technology sector and the electro-technical/BMS/controls industry.
Key activities
- Analysis of complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that will optimise the efficiency and quality of our services
- Designs, develops, and maintains interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, providing key metrics for various stakeholders
- Manages various data sources, ensuring integrity, consistency, and accuracy across different systems
- Applies knowledge of R and Python to conduct statistical analyses and predictive modelling, supporting strategic decision-making
- Works closely with different teams to understand their data requirements, provide analytical support, and deliver meaningful tools and applications
- Translates technical insights into clear, actionable reports for non-technical stakeholders, requiring a strong balance of communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Provide accurate and insightful reports to facilitate strategic decision making
- Ensures compliance with data governance and security policies, maintaining data confidentiality and integrity
Skills, qualifications & experience
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science
- Proficient in Power BI for data visualization and report development
- Knowledge of R and Python for data analysis and statistical modelling
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI and SQL for data manipulation and reporting
- Must be able to obtain and retain BPSS clearance
