Summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to join a very successful English department as a specialist Teaching Assistant Level 3.
The successful applicant will work with the English teaching staff in a collaborative way in meeting the curriculum needs of pupils and would be expected to:
- Plan and implement teaching and learning activities to individuals and groups.
- Undertake Library lessons with KS3 pupils in collaboration with the Library Manager
- Undertake cover supervision for whole classes in the English Department

Essential Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 qualification or above, or equivalent,
- Level 2 or above qualification in English/literacy and mathematics/numeracy, or equivalent
Essential Experience
- Experience of working with children
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to supervise and assist pupils
