‘Are you looking for a job where you can make a real difference?’
The Hut - Community Support Worker – £13.43 - £14.47 per hour (flexible hours)
We are The Rose Road Association, a Registered Charity providing essential care and support services in Southampton. We are looking to grow our team of people who support our children and young adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and autism. We are proud and passionate about making a difference to families across Hampshire, and we are looking for someone who shares our values to help improve the lives of others.
Flexible 28 - 35 hour contract
The day Services operate between 8:30am – 3:30pm between Monday to Friday – 4/5 days per week.
You don’t need to have previous experience in this type of work, and you don’t need any particular qualifications, as we will provide all the necessary training to develop you to your full potential.
This important role provides support to our children and young adults at home and in the community to enable well-being and independence.
Because the children and adults that we support are individuals, no two days are the same. One day you might be needed to assist with personal care at home (washing, dressing and feeding) while on other days, you could be taking part in fun leisure activities like going to the cinema, bowling, eating out, soft play, swimming, whatever our young people choose. It’s a really varied job that is hugely rewarding and makes a positive difference to the lives of local young people.
You’ll need to be at least 18 years old & be able to work Monday to Friday 8.30am to 3.30pm.
Beyond the necessary qualifications and skills, what truly matters to us is finding someone who shares our values:
· We are Trustworthy.
· We are Kind.
· We are Open & Honest.
· We are Forward Thinking.
· We are Professional.
