We are looking for enthusiastic and driven individuals to join our Front of House team in our busy restaurant and bar. An emphasis on excellent customer service and attention to detail is required.
This role offers a great work, life balance with only 2 possible dinner shifts per week. Shifts can be worked over a 4 or 5 day period and offer minimum 2 consecutive days off.
Rate of pay is flexible dependant on age and experience. Role progression to Head waiter/Supervisor is possible with training courses are available.
Duties will include:
- Greet customers warmly as they enter the premises
- Assist with seating arrangements and take reservations
- Provide menus and offer recommendations on dishes
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Handle payments and operate the cash register
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation at the front end area
Skills:
- Experience in hospitality or guest services is advantageous
- Knowledge of basic food safety practices, but full training will be given
- Ability to work well under pressure of busy restaurant service
- Upsell menu items and promote specials
