Financial Accountant - Birmingham
The role of Financial Accountant:
- Property accounts, including rates, rents and service charge
- Fixed asset accounting and reporting
- Management of asset registers
- Lease accounting in line with IFRS 16
- Depreciation calculations and journal postings
- Month-end reporting support
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Liaising with auditors and stakeholders on asset-related queries
The ideal Financial Accountant:
- ACCA/CIMA qualified, or qualified by experience
- Strong experience in the property sector
- Recent experience working with IFRS 16 and fixed assets
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to hit the ground running
