We are seeking a dedicated Cook to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the cooking process, ensuring that products are made to the highest quality standards. This position requires to work effectively in a team and factory environment.
Hours 7am/8am - 5pm (Flexibility an advantage)
Rate of pay £12.70 - £13.20 depending on experience or on completion of training.
Responsibilities
- Follow recipes accurately to ensure products are cooked to a high standard, within specification.
- Complete all appropriate paperwork.
- Clean as you go in your area.
- Maintain a clean and organised area.
- Follow all Health & Safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery and handling materials.
Experience
- Previous experience/knowledge in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred but not essential as all training will be given.
- Good English/numeracy skills and ability to follow instructions/recipes/procedures.
- Understanding of food safety including HACCP.
- Understanding of Health & Safety
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Requirement to have or complete a minimum of Level 2 Food Safety Training.
