Job Title: Preschool and Afterschool club practitioner
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Preschool and Afterschool club practitioner in our small friendly setting. You will be responsible for the Early years children as they transition from the Preschool into the Afterschool club as well as working with the children attending the Afterschool club.
This job would be suitable for someone who would like to progress their career to deputy manager.
Hours are Monday to Thursday 8.30 - 5.30pm. Additional hours may become available on a Friday if required and hours are negotiable with an earlier finishing time of 3.15pm on some days . This is a term time only position.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor children's progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities
- Utilize educational resources and materials to enhance learning experience
- Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment
Qualifications:
- Level 3 Early years Childcare qualification
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to motivate children
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual children's needs
- Reliable and punctual

Pay: £12.71-£14.00 per hour
