Driver Hire Edinburgh City is currently recruiting experienced and dependable Furniture Delivery Van Drivers to support a number of well-established clients across Edinburgh and the surrounding areas.
This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for flexible work, whether you're seeking extra income, a better work-life balance, or the chance to gain experience with a variety of clients.
- Completing furniture deliveries to residential and commercial customers
- Working alongside a driver's mate or delivery team
- Loading, unloading, and handling furniture safely and professionally
- Following planned delivery routes and schedules
- Providing excellent customer service at every delivery point
- Flexible shifts available, primarily Monday to Friday
PAYE
- £13.00 per hour
- £17.32 per hour after 8 hours
PAYE Advanced
- £14.57 per hour
- £19.42 per hour after 8 hours
✅ Minimum 8 hours' pay guaranteed per shift
✅ Weekly pay
✅ Flexible working patterns
- Full UK driving licence
- Previous van driving experience essential
- No major endorsements (DD, DR, CD, DG, or IN)
- Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting
- Reliable, professional, and customer-focused attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
