We are a family run independent garage looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our team.
The candidate must have experience within the motor industry and be competent to undertake all levels of vehicle repairs including, servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and general repairs. You must be capable of completing all paperwork necessary including job sheets and service reports.
You must be capable of working under pressure and be a team player (able to communicate clearly with all other members of the team) to ensure a smooth working environment.
Your own tools and a full driving licence are preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on vehicles.
- Perform routine maintenance on vehicles, such as servicing, brake and suspension repairs, timing belts Etc.
- Test drive vehicles to diagnose problems and ensure that repairs are complete.
- Use diagnostic tools to identify problems with vehicles.
- Keep accurate records of all work performed on vehicles.
- Work safely and to a high standard.
