Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Labourer to join our team, supporting various construction, gardening, and maintenance projects. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in horticulture, landscaping, and general site work.
Office based and Yard based in Ickenham
Place of work will vary over Hillingdon Borough
This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop practical skills in a dynamic environment, working on diverse projects that require physical labour and technical knowledge. All positions are paid, including internships, ensuring fair compensation for your efforts.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with landscape maintenance, including garden clearanc, hedge trimming, strimming, grass cutting, concreting, patios
- Operating hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Supporting excavation activities using equipment such as excavators
- Installing and maintaining irrigation systems
- Performing general construction tasks, including site clearance and material movement
- Assisting with equipment maintenance and basic repairs
- Ensuring work areas are clean, safe, and organised at all times
- Collaborating with team members to complete projects efficiently and to high standards
Skills
- Experience or interest in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture
- Mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain tools and equipment
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction equipment such as excavators
- Ability to perform physical tasks requiring strength and stamina
- Good organisational skills with attention to safety procedures
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of construction practices is advantageous but not essential; willingness to learn is important

Pay: £100.00-£110.00 per day
