We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Senior Residential Support Worker to join our team in a children’s home, supporting up to four young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD).
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role within a new service from the very beginning, helping to shape a positive, stable, and nurturing environment where young people can thrive. As a senior member of the team, you will support the leadership of the home, provide guidance to Residential Support Workers, and help maintain high standards of care and practice throughout the service.
Our homes are carefully designed to feel safe, welcoming, and genuinely homely - places where children can build trust, develop stability, and feel a true sense of belonging.
Backed by over 20 years of combined experience across residential childcare and semi-independent supported living, we are proud of the strong reputation we have built for delivering high-quality, child-centred care.
About the Children’s Experience
Children in our care are supported to lead active, fulfilling lives. We promote health and wellbeing through physical activities and encourage young people to explore hobbies and interests that matter to them.
These experiences help build confidence, resilience, social skills, and independence - key foundations for their future.
Our Team & Culture
Our workforce is made up of skilled, compassionate professionals from a wide range of backgrounds. This diversity allows us to take a multi-disciplinary approach, ensuring each child receives individualised and holistic support.
As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will play an important role in mentoring and supporting less experienced staff, leading by example, and contributing to the ongoing development of the service.
We value reflective practice and see everyday work as an opportunity to learn, grow, and improve outcomes for children.
Training & Development
We are committed to investing in our staff. All team members receive a comprehensive induction, followed by ongoing training that supports our therapeutic care model.
This includes mandatory training and Team Teach positive behaviour management at intermediate level, refreshed every 24 months.
All senior residential staff are required to hold, or be willing to work towards, a Residential Childcare Level 3 qualification. A Level 4 qualification or willingness to work towards one is desirable.
Benefits
In recognition of the commitment and dedication of our staff, we offer:
- Access to our Employee Benefits platform
- Wellbeing support including an OnDemand GP service
- A free, confidential 24-hour employee helpline
- Ongoing professional development and progression opportunities
- Opportunities to progress into Team Leader or Deputy Manager roles
