QA Auditor:
Reporting to the QA Supervisor, we are looking for candidates who would like to gain some experience within a QA Auditor role. If you have knowledge of HACCP and food safety systems and are able to demonstrate clear communication skills both verbal and written in addition to good organisational skills this could be the position for you.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct and record the required testing of various blends.
- Carry out the WIBIT tests on the production floor.
- Support with paper work and product sampling aspects of the role.
- Collection of samples for testing.
- Carry out and take part in audits.
- Maintain true, clear, comprehensive and accurate documentations for all activities.
- General duties within the Quality Department.
- Management of non-conforming product.
- Verification of line cleaning.
In addition you must adhere to Health and Safety policies, be an enthusiastic and flexible team player, have excellent attention to detail and be able to work well under pressure.
- Minimum of 3 years within a food manufacturing background.
- Good written and verbal skills.
- Computer literacy, specifically with MS Outlook, Excel and Word.
- Ability to learn.
- Positive, optimistic and enthusiastic.
- Supportive of team and colleagues.
- Enjoys working within a team and is results driven.
- Has the ability to be flexible.
Hours of Work
Currently working on a 3 shift rotation, 6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm, and 10pm to 6am. You may also be required work weekends if the business requires it.
Hourly rate £13.45 per hour plus 7.5% or 30% shift allowance.
