Overview
The Assembly Operative is responsible for the build and construction of high-quality cabinets. Working within a close-knit environment, this role requires rotating through different manufacturing cells to maintain floor flexibility, provide team coverage, and ensure consistent output quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Cabinet Assembly: Use hand tools, power drills, and assembly fixtures to construct cabinets according to technical specifications and quality benchmarks.
- Cross-Functional Rotation: Rotate flexibly across different sections of the production floor to maintain a multi-skilled workforce and cover operational gaps or absences.
- Quality Control: Conduct self-inspections of work throughout the build process to minimize defects, errors, and rework.
- Team Collaboration: Support peer training, foster positive internal working relationships, and maintain a proactive approach to team targets.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized workspace (5S compliance) and contribute to team efficiency improvements.

Hours: Monday – Friday, 07:30 – 16:00 (40 hours per week)
