Scale NJC 3 Salary: £12.85 per hour
Furness Education Trust is a multi-academy trust based in Barrow in Furness, Cumbria serving the Furness Community, located near the centre of the historic shipbuilding town and close to the southern boundary of the Lake District National Park. Currently comprised of seven academies including Furness Academy, Walney School and five primary, the Trust aims to develop best practice in each school across the whole Trust, by collaborating and working together to give the best of everything to every child. Furness Academy is part of a growing Trust and we are seeking new staff to join our team.
Furness Education Trust are seeking to appoint enthusiastic cleaners as part of the cleaning team to effectively carry out a range of cleaning and service duties. The successful candidate may be required to work across the Trust. Schools in the trust include Furness Academy, Walney School, Parkside Academy, Victoria Academy, Newton Village Academy, Lindal and Marton Primary School and Yarlside Academy.
You will:
- Clean assigned areas.
- Report anything in need of repair or replacement to the appropriate person.
- Keep individual cleaning area and space clean and tidy at all times and keep cleaning materials safely stored.
- Adhere to Health and Safety policies and procedures, in particular with regard to the use of chemicals and the avoidance of slips and trips.
