1) Role Purpose
Lead and continuously improve all treatment, transfer and recycling operations for healthcare waste at the Hull Site, with a primary focus on scaling the RecyClin™ closed-loop service and its alternative-treatment assets. The post-holder owns day-to-day production, compliance, project delivery and people performance, ensuring that every tonne of hazardous or non-hazardous clinical waste is rendered safe and transformed into secondary raw material in line with Environment Agency Permit, Healthcare waste: appropriate measures for permitted facilities December 2021 and HTM 07 01 2023 Health Technical Memorandum 07-01: Safe and sustainable management of healthcare waste 2022 edn.
A flagship live assignment, already under way, is a fast-track roll-out for a blue-chip medical-device client: collecting sterile-theatre end-of-life instruments, sterilising them in Hull and returning recovered plastics and metals into new supply chains, with verifiable carbon-reduction data delivered to the customer via MYgroup’s digital reporting suite.
