Main Responsibilities
· Following the routine in the nursery
· Supervising and hosting activities
· Assisting with mealtimes
· Greeting with parents
· Observations
Requirements:
· Good communication skills are imperative, this involves listening, questioning, and understanding and responding to what is being communicated by children and those caring for them.
· As part of a team, they will be expected to have a clear understanding of the role and the role of other members of the team.
· They will share information with other staff in a timely manner and work together to ensure the safety and well-being of all children within the nursery.
· A good knowledge of child development is essential to ensure that all the children’s individual needs are fully met.
· To be involved in the planning of the activities in your room to create and develop a stimulating environment to provide a high level of quality childcare whilst maintaining a professional and positive outcome for both children and staff.
Pay: From £16,640.00 per year
