We freshly bake our famous muffins every day in our stores across the UK and Ireland. We have a fantastic opportunity to join our friendly team in our Castleford store. The Role This is an early-morning role crucial to setting up our store for the day, offering approximately 30 hours per week. Working collaboratively with the team, you will be responsible for baking our famous muffins and other goods fresh every day, ensuring our displays look fantastic, and handcrafting drinks to serve our morning rush with a smile.

- Early Riser (Non-Negotiable): You must be able to commit to our early start times: 6:00 AM on weekdays and 5:00 AM on weekends. Please ensure you have reliable transport to accommodate these hours.
- Proven Baking Experience: You must have previous hands-on kitchen catering or baking experience.
- Food Safety Certification: A Level 2 or 3 Food Hygiene and Safety Certificate is required. Note: If your certificate has expired or you do not currently hold one, you must be willing to complete the certification online prior to your very first shift.
- Reliability & Initiative: We need someone dependable who can manage their time effectively during the quiet early hours and handle the pressure when the store opens.
Main Duties:
- Arrive early to open the kitchen, prepare, and bake products to brand standards whilst minimizing wastage.
- Handcraft hot and cold beverages to brand standards.
- Deliver an outstanding customer experience at all times whilst maintaining a welcoming environment.
- Confidently promote and upsell products.
- Keep all work areas spotless at all times with strict “Clean As You Go” practices.
- Maintain high levels of food safety and comply with all Bakers + Baristas operational policies and food safety regulations.
- Undertake any duties as required by the Shift Leader, Assistant Manager, or Manager.
