PLEASE NOTE: THIS ROLE IS ON FULL TIME SELF EMPLOYED BASIS - WITH COMPANY VAN AND WEEKLY PAID. MIN OF 36HOURS PER WEEK PAID.
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join the company within the Maintenance Division, on a Self Employed Basis The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in various setting. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, the ability to work with power and hand tools, and a commitment to safety standards.
We do offer a company van and fuel card (for business use only) with this Self Employed Role.

Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Ensure that all installations comply with the latest electrical codes and regulations.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and conduct repairs as necessary.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to ensure efficient project completion.
- Perform routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they become serious problems.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working on-site.
Skills
- Proficient in the use of electrical tools, including power tools and hand tools.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
- A valid electrician’s certification or relevant qualifications is preferred but not mandatory.
PLEASE NOTE:
We are looking for a skilled electrician to join the Maintenance Team. This role / division will require a professional approach to all customers and callouts. This will require (planned / booked in advance) occasional working out of hours works and driving to various / multiple sites per day. All Travel is also paid at the same hourly rate.
Although this is advertised for Taunton, the job will be covering callouts across the South West. We have various high profile commercial clients within the Dental, Retail and Leisure Industry.
