Senior Engineering Manager – Mechanical

We're looking for a Senior Engineering Manager – Mechanical to lead engineering services across a complex healthcare environment, ensuring safe, compliant and high-performing estates delivery.
You'll take ownership of engineering operations, leading teams to deliver planned and reactive maintenance while supporting critical clinical services. This is a senior leadership role where your expertise will shape strategy, manage risk, and drive continuous improvement across the estate.
Role Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage engineering maintenance and estates services, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and HTMs/HBNs
- Oversee PPM, lifecycle planning and risk management to minimise disruption to clinical operations
- Act as Authorised Person / Lead Authorised Person and ensure safe systems of work are followed
- Build strong relationships with internal teams, NHS stakeholders and external partners
- Drive performance, continuous improvement and value for money across engineering services
Required Qualifications:
- Relevant engineering/FM qualifications (e.g. NEBOSH, IOSH, IWFM or equivalent)
- Significant experience in a senior technical leadership role within FM or healthcare environments
- Strong knowledge of compliance, engineering standards and safe systems of work
