The Harrogate Bus Company is recruiting for a Engineering Manager to be based at our Starbeck Depot in Harrogate.
The Harrogate Bus Company is part of Transdev Blazefield. What you'll be doing...
- Overseeing all maintenance activities for buses, including routine servicing, inspections and repairs
- Ensuring vehicle exceed the DVSA standards and receive a 100% MOT pass rate
- Manage our team of engineers, body repairers and electricians
- Plan shifts and on-call arrangements
- Ensure full compliance in line with the o-licence
- Ensure engineering budgets are monitored
- Ensure all colleagues follow health, safety and workshop hygiene policies
What we need from you...
- A minimum Level 3 NVQ standard of equivalent (City & Guilds Level 1&2) qualification
- A flexible approach to working hours
- A driving licence
- Experience on on working with buses or coaches would be desirable
- The ability to gain or have your PCV licence
