About Vervaunt:
Vervaunt is a London-based eCommerce and paid media consultancy agency, focused on driving growth for aspirational retail brands. Our team has worked with some amazing brands, including Dr. Martens, MUJI, COS, Stussy, Self-Portrait, Bremont, Mattel, The Frankie Shop, Toteme, Timex and more.
Your role as Management Accountant:
At Vervaunt, now a part of IDHL Group, we are looking for a commercially minded Management Accountant to play a pivotal role in our finance function within a fast-paced, agency environment.
This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of financial reporting, while also acting as a trusted partner to the wider business. You’ll own core management accounting responsibilities and provide high-quality financial insight that supports both day-to-day decision-making and longer-term strategic planning.
Beyond the numbers, this is a highly collaborative role – ideal for someone who enjoys being visible in the business, building relationships, and developing a deep understanding of how the agency operates, from client delivery through to commercial performance.
The successful candidate will be confident in communicating financial information to non-finance stakeholders, curious about the work we do, and motivated by helping teams make better decisions through clear, relevant insight. You’ll thrive in an environment where priorities move quickly, problems are solved collaboratively, and finance is seen as an enabler of growth rather than a back-office function.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly management accounts, including journals, accruals, prepayments, and variance analysis
Own day‑to‑day financial operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and policy compliance
Manage accounts receivable and payable, including billing, credit control, and supplier payments
Maintain cash flow forecasting, working capital management, and multi‑currency bank reconciliations
Prepare and submit VAT returns, Corporation Tax, P11Ds, PSA, and R&D submissions
Support monthly payroll and KPI reporting
Assist with year‑end audit preparation and statutory reporting
Act as a trusted finance partner, providing clear insight to non‑finance stakeholders
