About the Role
We are looking for compassionate and reliable Community Carers to support individuals in their own homes across Okehampton. This is a rewarding role where you will help people maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life through person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care needs
- Support with medication (full training provided)
- Prepare meals and assist with light household tasks
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Assist clients to attend appointments and access the community
- Monitor wellbeing and maintain accurate care records
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential)
- A genuine passion for delivering high-quality care
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, flexible, and professional approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Right to work in the UK
- Previous care experience is desirable but not essential as full training is provided
