Cardiff and Vale College is seeking an experienced and highly organised Examinations Manager to lead the effective delivery of all external examinations and assessments across the College.
You will act as the College’s main point of contact for all examination activity, ensuring processes are delivered efficiently, securely, and in full compliance with JCQ and awarding body regulations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the administration of external examinations and assessments
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Managing candidate registrations, entries, and results processes
- Working closely with curriculum teams, senior leaders and external bodies
- Maintaining robust procedures, policies, and contingency arrangements
- Providing training, guidance and support to staff
- Safeguarding the integrity and security of the exams process
You will have:
- Experience in examinations management or a similar regulated environment
- Strong knowledge of awarding body and compliance requirements
- Proven ability to lead teams and deliver high-quality services
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
- The ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
A positive, proactive approach and a commitment to continuous improvement are essential.
