Sous Chef ready to step into a strong leadership role within a structured kitchen brigade.
Working closely with the Senior Sous Chef and Head Chef, you’ll be a key part of the leadership team—supporting service, maintaining standards, and helping drive consistency in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
This is a role for someone who wants responsibility, progression, and real influence in a growing kitchen.
�� The Role: Sous Chef You’ll support senior leadership in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, stepping up during service, leading sections when required, and ensuring every plate meets exacting standards.
��️ Key Responsibilities
- Support Kitchen Leadership: Work closely with the Senior Sous Chef and Head Chef to deliver smooth, efficient service
- Lead Sections During Service: Take ownership of key areas of the kitchen during busy periods
- Maintain Food Quality: Ensure consistency, presentation, and standards are met on every dish
- Assist with Team Supervision: Support junior chefs, helping guide and develop their performance
- Health & Safety Compliance: Uphold strict hygiene and food safety standards at all times
- Stock Awareness: Assist with stock rotation, prep levels, and waste control
- Service Execution: Help ensure smooth ticket flow and timely delivery during busy service periods
- Problem Solving: Stay calm under pressure and support quick resolution of kitchen challenges
�� About You
- Experience as a Sous Chef or strong Senior CDP ready to step up
- Confident working in a structured kitchen brigade
- Strong understanding of service flow and kitchen operations
- Calm, reliable, and consistent under pressure
- Passionate about quality food and high standards
- Eager to develop and progress within a growing brand
