Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations within a busy hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional service. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring food safety standards are maintained, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere for guests. The Restaurant Manager will play a pivotal role in maintaining high-quality food production, managing team performance, and ensuring smooth operation of the establishment.
Duties
- Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and customer satisfaction
- Supervise and manage staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Coordinate food production processes to guarantee timely delivery of quality dishes
- Lead by example in delivering excellent hospitality and service standards
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control costs effectively
- Handle customer complaints or concerns promptly to uphold the restaurant’s reputation
- Organise staff meetings and training sessions to promote teamwork and continuous improvement
- Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to optimise profitability
- Maintain a positive working environment that encourages team collaboration and professional growth
Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within hospitality settings
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations
- Demonstrable leadership skills with experience in team management and supervising staff
- Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in culinary roles such as chef or barista is advantageous but not essential
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to motivate teams and engage customers effectively
- Background in hospitality or hotel management is desirable but not mandatory
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on delivering outstanding guest experiences
Pay: £24,420.00-£47,317.84 per year
