Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service

- Manage food safety protocols, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices
- Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure timely serving of meals
- Assist in menu planning and development based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times
- Monitor inventory levels and liaise with suppliers for procurement of ingredients
- Provide training and mentorship to junior kitchen staff to foster professional growth
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management
- Supervising experience within a hospitality or restaurant setting
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Extensive knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and front-of-house staff
- Experience in food production, restaurant operations, and serving is desirable
