Soft Landscaping Team Leader and Operatives
Location: Chippenham
Experience Needed: Ideally experience in commercial planting and horticulture. We will also consider candidates with transferable skills for the operative role.
Driving Licence: Essential
CSCS: Required, or willingness to obtain one
Our client is a well‑established landscaping company providing high‑quality grounds maintenance and soft landscaping services across commercial and private sites. They offer a supportive team environment, ongoing training, and long‑term opportunities for the right people.
We are recruiting a Team Leader and Soft Landscaping Operatives to join their growing team. If you enjoy working outdoors and have a positive, hands‑on attitude, this could be a great fit.
The Role
You will be involved in a variety of outdoor tasks, including:
- Turfing, planting, mulching and basic fencing
- Mowing, strimming, pruning, weeding and general grounds maintenance
- Using a range of tools and landscaping equipment
- Keeping outdoor areas clean, tidy and well maintained
- Reporting issues and following all health & safety procedures
- Working independently and as part of a friendly team
What We’re Looking For
Team Leader: Must have demonstrable experience in commercial landscaping and a background in leading a team.
Operative: Landscaping experience isn’t essential - we’re happy to consider applicants with transferable skills from labouring, construction, warehouse, farming, or similar outdoor work.
- Reliable, hardworking and willing to learn
- Comfortable with physical outdoor work in all weather
- Strong attention to detail
- Full UK driving licence (required)
- CSCS card or willingness to obtain one
- Spray ticket desirable for the Team Leader role (not essential)
