About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Care Manager to join our growing team. You will lead the day-to-day running of supported living services, ensuring safe, high-quality, person-centered care that promotes independence and meets regulatory standards. You will also support staff development, maintain compliance, and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operation and management of supported living services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centered support that enables individuals to live independently and achieve positive outcomes.
- Ensure safe, effective, and person-centered care is delivered in accordance with individual care plans and organizational standards
- Commitment to the company’s growth and service delivery, with a willingness to develop professionally by working across different boroughs as required.
- Manage staffing levels and support Rota planning to ensure appropriate care coverage at all times.
- Ensure compliance with Care Quality Commission regulations, legislation, and company policies and procedures.
- Investigate incidents, complaints, safeguarding concerns, ensuring appropriate actions and learning outcomes are implemented.
- Support business development by responding to enquiries and assisting with new care packages.
- Promote a positive culture of dignity, respect, safety, person-centered care, and continuous improvement.
Essential Requirements
- NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent qualification) and minimum of 3–5 years' experience in a Care Manager, or similar leadership role within the health and social care sector.
- Must have exposure to working across different boroughs, demonstrating experience of varied services, communities, and working environments.
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients, families, healthcare professionals, and commissioners.
- Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
