Job Summary
We are seeking 2 Food Production Assistants to join our manufacturing team. The job involves supporting food production processes, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, and maintaining high-quality output. Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and assembly of food products according to specified recipes and standards
- Operate basic machinery and equipment used in food production, adhering to safety protocols
- Monitor production lines to ensure continuous operation and identify any issues promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas in accordance with hygiene regulations
- Follow HACCP procedures diligently to ensure food safety at all stages of production
- Conduct basic quality checks and report any irregularities or defects to supervisors
- Support inventory management by recording materials used and replenishing supplies as needed
- Participate in routine cleaning and sanitation tasks to uphold hygiene standards
Skills
- Basic understanding of food production processes and quality control measures
- Mechanical knowledge or experience operating equipment is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Basic maths skills for measurements, portioning, and record keeping
